Mr. Vinod Damodar Raulkar (VDR)
Vinod Damodar Raulkar, the founder and driving force behind India Export Academy, is a seasoned entrepreneur, mentor, and international trade professional with over two decades of diversified business experience.
Born in 1974 in Fulchur village, Gondia district, Maharashtra, Mr. Raulkar completed his early education at Zilla Parishad School, Fulchur. He later pursued his higher secondary education and graduation from J.M. Patel College, Bhandara, under Nagpur University.
His professional journey began in the field of education, where he established Gurukunj Career Academy, mentoring students for competitive examinations. Under his guidance, numerous students achieved notable success—an early reflection of his commitment to structured learning and mentorship.
Transitioning into entrepreneurship, Mr. Raulkar entered the manufacturing sector through Bhavika Chemical Industries (2004–2009), followed by a successful tenure in financial services. He earned Gold Club membership while managing agency operations with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, and later deepened his expertise in trade finance through Vijaya Financial (2010–2017).
In 2018, with an initial investment of just ₹28,000, he founded Bhavika Traders (TATHAGAT AGRO EXPORTS), an agricultural export enterprise that scaled rapidly to achieve a turnover exceeding ₹5 crore—a testament to strategic execution, market understanding, and operational discipline.
Drawing upon his extensive experience across Manufacturing, Finance, Insurance, and International Trade, Mr. Raulkar established India Export Academy with a clear and ambitious mission:
to develop thousands of successful exporters by providing practical, ethical, and execution-driven export-import training.
His vision continues to inspire entrepreneurs, MSMEs, farmers, and professionals to participate in India’s global trade growth and achieve economic empowerment through exports.
